Criminal Defense

Our criminal defense lawyers represent clients charged with criminal offenses in traffic, state, and superior courts throughout the metro Atlanta area- focusing primarily on South Metro Atlanta (including Clayton County, Fayette County, and Henry County).

We are equipped to handle your or your loved one’s matter through every phase of the case. From pre-arrest investigations through trial, we are there every step of the way. Clients consistently receive outstanding outcomes because from day one we work every angle of their case.

We handle misdemeanor and felony cases and we provide client case management in three phases. Phase 1: Pre-Arrest is where we provide protection for clients who are being investigated by law enforcement and/or government agencies. In the second phase of the case, Phase 2: Post-Arrest/Pre-Trial, we actively investigate our client’s charges, file and argue appropriate procedural motions, and negotiate dismissals and/or reductions in charges.  During the final phase, Phase 3: Trial, we prepare for trial and represent our client’s interests in a formal trial proceeding, arguing their case before a judge (in a bench trial) or a jury (in a jury trial).

It’s important to have an experienced and courageous attorney on your side when facing criminal charges. We go the extra mile to protect your reputation!

Our experienced criminal defense lawyers guarantee that no matter how big or small the case may appear, we prepare and fight for each and every client with the same fervor and tenacity. We thoroughly explore all options before advising our clients on whether or not they should plead or try their case.

During the criminal law consultation, clients discuss their charges with an experienced attorney, discuss potential plans of action in their case, and get a realistic assessment of their options. Read more about our lead criminal defense lawyer,  Candace Alynn Hill Duvernay.
